Personality:
Miles is a cautious young man with a polite personality. He's pretty easy to talk to until his stubbornness creeps up which leads to a tendency to debate and act precocious. He doesn't argue angrily; he just likes questioning people, their opinions, and/or motives. Miles likes controlling the situation (with his clients and partners) and will happily take up a challenge to keep it that way. It isn't easy for him trust others, but once he does, he's an irreplaceable friend, companion, and lover.

History:
Miles does not know where he was born or who his parents are. All he has known is St. Sebastian, a preparatory joint middle and high school for boys from prestigious and wealthy families. Miles spent his pre-pubescent years as the well kept secret of SS Prep's science club. The boys of the school didn't quite know what to make of Miles and his bird features and his feminine face. To the club, he really was just a pet -- someone they fed, played games with, and spoke to for company. It was the president of the science club who named Miles and ensured he learn how to speak properly. The club taught Miles the life that exists in this world, and the more he learned, the more the canary child realized what a biological anomaly he was. But that didn't matter -- as long as he had his science club friends, he was happy.

However, things changed when the club members got older and became high school-aged. It was perplexing. While the boys around him began to get taller and deeper in voice, Miles stayed relatively the same. Although he had hit puberty, the canary boy was still smaller than most guys, his face still quite feminine, and although his voice deepened, he could easily adjust it and sing like any young girl. And boy did the club members give him shit for it. Miles was constantly teased and picked on by his friends for the features they once complimented him for and enjoyed. He was simply at the bottom of the food chain. The bullies of SS Prep picked on the science club members, and in turn the club picked on him. Miles put up with it though; he needed them, and everyone knew it. That was how the president wanted it to be, and it was why Mile's hand-me-down education was very selective, only consisting of knowledge and skills that lacked practical use to survive by oneself in the "real world."

Mile's education took an interesting turn, though, during the weeks prior to the homecoming celebration. As typical nerds, the science club members were socially awkward outside their ring of friends and found themselves rejected and dateless for the high school event. The president especially resented this outcome and fell upon his usual vent: picking on Miles. However, instead of name-calling and punches, Miles received compliments and hugs, things the president had not given him since younger days. He was confused, and when the president kissed him, one thing led to another, and Miles found himself pleasuring his friend, stopping just short of full intercourse. It was the canary boy's first sexual encounter, and neither of the two knew what to make of it. What first started as a secret soon quickly spread throughout the club, and Miles became their beloved pet once more but in a new way. Lacking a proper sexual education, Miles did not conform to healthy monogamous relationships. He belonged to the group as a whole but quickly learned what his friends liked and did not like as individuals. Miles was a natural at adapting to his partner but was always careful to draw the line at full intercourse.

It wasn't until the science club became greedy did Miles truly grow to hate them. Seeing a financial opportunity in sharing their pet, the science club began selling Miles as a special escort to the student body. More SS prep students learned of Mile's existence and joined the science club to be entertained by the sweet canary. Miles protested often, disgusted by the thought of being sold, but the club president would always talk him into it, taking advantage of Mile's feelings for him. When one client visit involving a teacher goes terribly wrong, the science club president decides to get rid of his canary and sells Miles to Eden-de-Ys, under the suggestion of his sketchy wealthy father. Since then Miles has lived on the island as a pet, servicing only those his own age. Now that he is 18 and legal, he has his reserves about seeking older partners and clients, but he is determined to raise enough money to buy his freedom. Where he will go from there if he reaches his goal, only time will tell.
